Ram Prasadh Kadal is the founder and director of NEPALI FOLK MUSICAL INSTRUMENT MUSEUM ( NFMIM). He has published two editions of "MUSIC INSTRUMENTS OF NEPAL" documentation of Nepali folk music instruments - his archive of Nepali music instruments are available at the British library for world music researcher and ethnomusicology scholars. He was recently awarded the Nikkei Asia award in 2020 for his contribution on preservations of Nepal's musical instruments and cultural history.The Nepali Folk Musical Instrument Museum (NFMIM) was founded in 1997 and opened to the public in 2002 and has since grown into a vibrant and dynamic institution where people interested in Nepali folk music meet daily
